Brave Horse Spring Week II Marks the Beginning of Outdoor Show Season

With sunshine and warmer temperatures welcoming riders back to Brave Horse for Spring Week II there were plenty of smiles around the showground. It was a terrific week of competition despite the fact that the weather turned and Sunday’s classes were folded into Saturday’s schedule due to the spring downpour. Our trainers and riders took it in stride and we were able to complete the entire schedule of classes for this early spring show.

There were some terrific competitive moments, including a competitive OHJA combined 2’6” and 3’ Medal Class won by 13 year old Jacob Harris aboard his bay mare NADIA.

In the Adult Amateur Hunter 3’ Division Devout, owned and ridden by Larissa Hufnagel, took top honors in good company with Carol Dornisch riding her own Carabella to Reserve honors. That division looks like it’s going to be one to watch this season with lots of beautiful hunters and competitive riders in the ring.
